Dread‘s is a Mobile Bike Repair shop based out of Charlotte, NC. It was established to address the growing needs of cyclists who cannot get to your typical 9-5 shop for repairs and tune-ups, in Charlotte and its surrounding areas.  Dread’s Mobile Bike Repair will come to you, Pick-up and Drop off, or do the work right at your home, you choose! Cycling has been a passion of Dread’s and a part of his life for more than 30 years. He has ridden bikes as a competitor and a recreational cyclist; he has also raced BMX, Mountain and Road bikes as well as competed at Mountain Bike Trials. Dread has participated in numerous centuries and fundraiser rides and volunteered in community bike events providing free mechanic work and tune- ups.  After working on friends and family bikes from the time he was 10 years old, he was offered his first bike mechanics position at age 16 at one of the busiest shops in Princeton, NJ. While working in bike shops through High school and college, he continued racing and wrenching on bikes, and his enthusiasm and love grew.   In 1995, he managed his first bike shop in Farless Hills Pa., in which he continued to manage until moving his family to Charlotte, NC in 1999. In Charlotte his passion for bikes grew stronger and he worked as manager and Lead mechanic for a local shop for almost 5 years. Now here he is to bring quality bike repair service to your door.
